Frequently asked questions

Is this online or in-person?
Both options are available. In-person sessions are conducted in Bengaluru. Online sessions are available to students across India and internationally - the experience is equivalent. Most families outside Bengaluru opt for online.
How is this different from a school counselor?
School counselors typically serve hundreds of students with limited time per student. AG's counseling is personal, unhurried, and goes significantly deeper - particularly on the aptitude, values, and India-market reality dimensions that school counseling rarely reaches. The CARVE framework and Ashish's 22 years of institutional knowledge also bring a depth and specificity that generalist guidance cannot match.
At what age should we begin?
Class 8 is an ideal starting point - early enough to influence stream selection calmly, without the pressure of Board exams imminent. That said, it is never too late: the Pathways programme is designed specifically for students already in higher education who want to course-correct or plan their transition into the workforce.
Can parents attend the sessions?
Student sessions are conducted one-on-one to ensure the student can speak freely. Every programme includes a dedicated parent session. This separation is intentional - students need space to be honest, and parents deserve a structured forum to ask their own questions without their child present.
Is there a guarantee of a specific outcome?
The CARVE process guarantees a structured, rigorous, and genuinely personalised exploration. It does not guarantee a specific career outcome - no ethical counseling can. What it guarantees is that you or your child will leave with significantly more clarity than you arrived with, grounded in real self-knowledge and real market information.
